The greater Bangor area has multiple places that offer boarding, doggie day care, grooming, & training classes.
Obedience classes are essential for proper training and provide rewarding challenges for your dog. Not only does it help your dog’s social skills and manners, it also allows for a stronger bond between you and your beloved pet. Once you have obedience down you and your dog can move onto more challenging and fun classes, such as Agility, Rally-O, Scent Work, Trick Classes, etc. The list goes on and on!
Doggie day cares works just like human children daycares. You would drop your pooch off in the morning on the way to work, and while you work the day away, your pooch is busy having fun and getting some ‘crazy’ out! Depending on both your dog’s activity level, and the program set out by the daycare owners, he/she may enjoy the day by playing with other dogs or playing with people, inside or out!

Some things to ask are the hours of drop-off and pick-up, what size group will your dog be in, how many employees are on hand at any given time, the amount of time your dog will actually be in a play group, what the protocol is for an emergency, and fees.
