Penobscot Veterinary Services was established in 2006, but its heritage extends back to 1971 as Penobscot Veterinary Hospital.
PVS is one of the longest standing American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited practices in the state of Maine.
Our veterinary team includes 4 full-time veterinarians, 1 practice manager, 1 office manager, 9 veterinary technicians, 5 customer service representatives, 3 veterinary assistants, and 1 animal care attendant. Many of our staff are cross trained in multiple areas of the practice. We offer the highest standards and each staff member is dedicated to providing the absolute best care for your pet.
To ensure current knowledge in veterinary care, our veterinarians and support staff are constantly participating in seminars, continuing education, and training.
